## How Giving Works

- 0% platform fee. What a donor pays includes an optional tip to FundlyHub: the checkout suggests 15%, and the donor can change it or choose none. The card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) comes out of the donation.
- Example: a donor pays $50.00. The tip is $7.50, the card fee is $1.75, and the campaign receives $40.75. With no tip, the campaign receives $48.25 of the same $50.00.
- Payments run on Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider. Card details go straight to Stripe: FundlyHub never stores card numbers and sees only the card brand and the last four digits.
- No account is needed to give: a name and an email address for the receipt are enough, and a gift can be anonymous.
- Gifts to personal fundraisers are not tax-deductible. Gifts to eligible charitable organizations may be tax-deductible, subject to applicable tax rules.
- Refunds are handled by the FundlyHub team, case by case, through Stripe; a refund is never automatic. To request one, report the campaign from its page or email tech@cyty.io.

## How Campaigns Are Reviewed

- Before a campaign goes live it passes an identity check (a profile photo, a first and last name, a verified email address and a phone number), an automatic content review and an AI analysis.
- Campaigns the AI approves publish instantly. Campaigns it is unsure about go to the FundlyHub team, usually within 24 hours.
- To receive payouts, a creator connects Stripe, and Stripe verifies their identity and bank account. When the creator's Stripe account can take charges, a donation goes to it directly. Otherwise it waits in FundlyHub's Stripe balance and is transferred once the creator finishes Stripe verification.
- The green tick next to an organizer's name reads "Email verified": the organizer confirmed their email address. It is not an identity check.
- Anyone signed in with a verified email can report a campaign with the Report link at the bottom of its page. Questions about a specific campaign: safety@fundlyhub.org.

## Four Ways to Raise

One account, four ways to raise:

- Fundlies: fundraisers for a person or a cause. On FundlyHub a fundraiser is called a Fundly. Pages: https://fundlyhub.org/f/{slug}
- Projects: goal-based campaigns for an idea or a build, with milestones donors can follow. Pages: https://fundlyhub.org/p/{slug}
- Creators: monthly or annual support from a creator's own community, through tiers billed by Stripe.
- Nonprofits: verified organizations (EIN and 501(c)(3) documents reviewed) running campaigns under their own name.

## Ambassadors, Achievements and the Leaderboard

- Ambassadors share campaigns beyond the organizer's own circle through their own links, and every gift a link brings in is credited to them.
- Achievements are earned by giving, raising and sharing, never bought, in Base, Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers. Each achievement card has a public page at https://fundlyhub.org/c/{code}. The catalogue is at https://fundlyhub.org/achievements, and signed-in people see their own at https://fundlyhub.org/achievements/mine.
- The leaderboard at https://fundlyhub.org/leaderboard ranks everyone, or only creators, ambassadors or donors, over all time, the last 30 days or the last 7 days, on money that actually settled.
- The platform's totals are public on FundlyHub's own profile: https://fundlyhub.org/@fundlyhub

**Does FundlyHub have active fundraisers?** Yes. 29 campaigns are live right now: see the list above, or https://fundlyhub.org/causes.

**What does FundlyHub charge?** A 0% platform fee. What a donor pays includes an optional tip to FundlyHub (the checkout suggests 15%, and the donor can change it or choose none), and the card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) comes out of the donation. Of a $50.00 payment with the suggested tip, $40.75 reaches the campaign; with no tip, $48.25.

**Is giving on FundlyHub safe?** Payments run on Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, and card details go straight to Stripe. **Can I donate without an account?** Yes. A name and an email address for the receipt are enough, and a gift can be anonymous.

**Can a gift be deducted from my taxes?** Gifts to personal fundraisers are not tax-deductible. Gifts to eligible charitable organizations may be tax-deductible, subject to applicable tax rules. FundlyHub does not give tax advice.

**How do creators get paid?** A creator sets up payouts from the Funds tab of their profile, and Stripe verifies their identity and bank account. Money goes to the bank on demand, or on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.

**What happens to donations made before the creator finishes Stripe verification?** They wait in FundlyHub's Stripe balance and are not released to the creator until verification is complete. If they are never transferred to the creator, FundlyHub verifies the donors and offers each of them the choice to move the donation to another campaign or to receive a refund.

**How are refunds handled?** By the FundlyHub team, case by case, through Stripe; a refund is never automatic, and it is not guaranteed. If fraud is confirmed, FundlyHub works to refund every affected donor. To request a refund, report the campaign from its page or email tech@cyty.io. FundlyHub support can also help with refund requests for tips and subscription payments, case by case.

**How do I report a campaign?** Sign in with a verified email and use the Report link at the bottom of the campaign page, or write to safety@fundlyhub.org. Reports are confidential.

**How do I delete my account?** Deactivate it in Profile Settings, and email tech@cyty.io to ask for the account and its data to be deleted.

**Can I move my campaign from another site?** Yes. Paste its link in the campaign builder: the title, story, goal and images are imported from GoFundMe, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, JustGiving, Fundly.com and most public fundraiser pages.

**What is Fundly Give?** Monthly giving to verified nonprofits, by payroll, card or bank transfer. It is not live yet.

**What languages does FundlyHub support?** English, Russian (Русский), Ukrainian (Українська) and Spanish (Español), in the product and in the guides.

## Accounts and Security

- Every connection to fundlyhub.org and to the API uses HTTPS.
- Sign-in runs on AWS Cognito, with Google and Apple sign-in. Session tokens are kept in httpOnly cookies.
- Two-factor authentication for user accounts is not available yet.
- Admin tools are limited by role, and admin changes are written to an audit log.
- Sign-in and API requests are rate limited.
- Errors are monitored with Sentry.
- FundlyHub runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States.
- Card details go straight to Stripe; FundlyHub never stores card numbers.
- Report a vulnerability to security@fundlyhub.org. The process is at https://fundlyhub.org/trust/incident-response
