Dear Friends,
The Bublik family—Edik, Diana, and their three children—is facing an incredibly difficult journey.
When their baby boy, Emin, was only five months old, doctors diagnosed him with cardiomyopathy, a serious heart condition that has led to severe heart failure.
On May 11, the family received this devastating news while in the emergency department in Sacramento. Shortly afterward, Emin was airlifted to Stanford for urgent evaluation and specialized medical care.
Unfortunately, medication did not provide the improvement doctors had hoped for. In an effort to save Emin’s life, doctors performed a major surgery to implant a ventricular assist device (VAD), a mechanical heart pump that helps his heart perform its vital functions.
Emin is now recovering from surgery and remains under close medical supervision. The family continues to pray and hope that this device will help strengthen his heart and prevent the need for a transplant. However, doctors have explained that if the VAD does not provide sufficient improvement, a heart transplant may become the next step in his treatment journey.
Doctors have informed the family that Emin’s hospitalization and treatment could last a year or longer.
This will be a long and challenging road. As a self-employed provider, Edik has had to step away from work indefinitely in order to be by his family’s side during this crisis. With Emin’s lengthy hospitalization, the family is facing a significant loss of income at a time when expenses continue to grow.
In addition to supporting Diana and remaining at the hospital with Emin, Edik must regularly travel between Stanford and Sacramento to spend time with and care for their two young daughters, ages 3 and 7, who also need the love, attention, and support of their parents during this difficult season.
We ask for your prayers for the entire family. Please pray that God grants them physical strength, emotional endurance, and unwavering faith as they face the days ahead, and that they are continually reminded that they are not alone—surrounded by the love of God, family, and friends.
We also invite you to support the family financially. Donations will help cover lost income, transportation expenses, lodging, meals, medical-related costs, and the everyday needs of the family during what is expected to be a long hospitalization and recovery journey.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden and allow the family to focus on what matters most—caring for Emin and supporting one another.
Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and encouragement. Your support means more than words can express.
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
Jeremiah 33:3
