Help Misha Find His Way to Communicate
My name is Natalia, and I am a mother of two boys. My older son, Misha, is 4 years old.
He has Level 3 autism, which means he needs very substantial support and constant supervision.
Misha does not yet speak. He struggles to understand spoken language and communicate his needs. He cannot tell me, “Mommy, it hurts,” ask for help, or explain what is upsetting him. One of the hardest things for our family is seeing him struggle and not always knowing how to help.
I want to give my son more ways to communicate—through words, gestures, pictures, or other communication tools. I dream of him being able to share what he wants, connect with our family, and play with his little brother, with more ways for them to understand each other.
We are raising funds for therapy and support focused on Misha’s communication and everyday skills. The care we are fundraising for will cost more than $5,000. This is a significant expense for our family, and we are reaching out for help.
We understand that no one can promise speech or a specific outcome. Our goal is to give Misha access to support that respects his individual needs and helps him build skills at his own pace.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us move closer to that goal. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our fundraiser.
Thank you for reading our story and supporting Misha. Your kindness can help make his world easier to understand, safer, and more connected to the people who love him.
