From the heart of America to Ukraine

Sometimes, to change someone's life, you don't need to do something big. It's enough just not to walk past someone else's trouble. ❤️

Our story began not with the creation of a charity organization, not with official documents, and not even with the first humanitarian shipment.

It began with a desire to help.

💙 How it all started

When the full-scale war began in Ukraine, the lives of millions of people changed forever. Some lost loved ones, some lost their homes, jobs, and their usual lives. Thousands of families were forced to leave everything they had built over the years and seek refuge in other cities.

Our family found itself far from Ukraine — in the United States of America, in sunny California.

As we gradually settled into our new life, we noticed one interesting thing.

Here, in America, people often donate clothes, shoes, children's items, toys, and much more. Items that are still in good condition, sometimes almost new, but no longer needed by their owners.

They are given to charity shops, passed on to friends, or simply left by houses.

And we thought…

How much joy could these items bring to people in Ukraine who today cannot afford even the most basic necessities?

💛 Where help is needed the most

Somewhere in Ukraine, there is a mother who has to choose between food and warm clothing for her child.

There are families who have lost their homes and are starting life anew with only what they could take with them.

There are elderly people who have remained in frontline villages where there are almost no shops, public transport, and sometimes even the possibility to leave safely.

There are children growing up in wartime who deserve ordinary childhood joys — a nice jacket, comfortable shoes, a favorite toy.

For some, these are just things that are no longer needed.

But for others, they are a chance to warm up, feel cared for, and understand that they have not been forgotten. ❤️

That is why we decided: if we can help at least a few families — we must try.

📦 From small acts of kindness to HelpWay

We started helping long before the official creation of the organization.

We collected items, found ways to send them to Ukraine, and looked for people who could help with delivery and distribution.

Eventually, we realized that we wanted to do this systematically, involve more caring people, and help more families.

Thus, HelpWay was born — a charity organization created in California to unite kind hearts on both sides of the ocean. 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦

We believe that help should have no borders.

And that even a small act of kindness can be the beginning of great changes.

👕 How our help works

We collect clothes, shoes, children's items, toys, and other necessary things for people of all ages — from the youngest children to the elderly.

Caring residents of California pass us items they are willing to share.

Sometimes people bring help themselves, and sometimes we come and pick it up by arrangement.

After that, we:

📦 Check the condition of the items to ensure we only pass on what is truly suitable for further use.

👕 Sort clothes and shoes by age, size, and purpose.

🧸 Prepare children's items, toys, and essentials separately.

🚚 Pack humanitarian shipments and organize their delivery from California to Ukraine.

🇺🇦 In Ukraine, the help is delivered through local volunteers, charitable and religious organizations that help deliver items directly to families, displaced persons, and residents of frontline areas.

We strive to ensure that every item passed on gets a new life exactly where it is most needed.

🚢 Our first shipment — just the beginning!

We have already organized the first official humanitarian shipment from California to Ukraine on behalf of HelpWay! 💙💛

We expect the cargo to arrive in Ukraine in December 2026.

And we are already preparing the next batch of items and planning a second shipment also in December.

Our goal is to make such shipments regular, approximately every three months, depending on the volume of collected aid and available funding.

We want help to come not just once, but continuously.

So that people know: even thousands of kilometers away, there are those who care about their fate.

❤️ Why we need your support?

Thanks to kind people in America, we can collect many necessary items completely free of charge.

But between California and Ukraine — there are thousands of kilometers and an entire ocean.

And although the items themselves are given to us for free, their preparation, packaging, transportation, and international delivery require funds.

This is exactly why we opened this charity collection.

Your donations will help us cover the logistics of humanitarian shipments and deliver more items to those in need.

It is not necessary to donate large sums.

Even a small contribution is part of a common cause that helps bring the next shipment closer.

And every successful shipment means more families receiving the necessary help.

There is another important idea in our activities.

We are not just transferring items from one country to another.

We are giving them a second life.

What has become unnecessary in America can be extremely valuable for a family in Ukraine.

This is not just help for people, but also a responsible attitude towards the things and resources of our planet. 🌱

And most importantly — it is an opportunity to unite people from different countries around a simple desire to do good.
