We are a family that has faced many serious hardships recently, including the loss of our child, being evicted from our apartment because of mold that no one was willing to address, immigration court, and an unlawful case being opened against us. We have also gone through several moves and the loss of employment.

Because work is scarce in Florida during the summer, my husband was only able to find temporary and occasional jobs for a long time. Due to our financial difficulties, we were unable to file for our work permit renewals on time. This now makes it difficult for us to find stable employment.

My physical and mental health have significantly deteriorated due to the overwhelming stress we have experienced. I reached a point where I felt I was no longer fully in control of my own actions. My husband has also begun experiencing serious health problems related to stress.

Right now, we simply cannot afford our rent.

We desperately need financial assistance to cover our bills, apply to renew our work permits, and finally feel like we have some stability and support beneath our feet.
